Terri Geerinck
Grief-stricken in the wake of her daughter’s death, Selma embarks on a trip to the small Caribbean island of Bornay. Escaping winter’s chill and inescapable reminders of her lost daughter, she finds herself charmed by a quaint seaside inn, its eccentric guests, the miles of beaches, and a new friend, Gerry.
Little did she guess that before long she would be desperately fighting for her life and the lives of those she loves as she discovers the Bornay Inn isn’t what it claims to be—and that curses can be all too real!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR ...
Writing novels is something of a departure for author Terri Geerinck, who is well-known as the author of texts in psychology and human relations that have been adopted by colleges and universities across Canada. Recently retired from her position as a professor and consultant, she decided to try her hand at fiction. Using her experience of psychology, she creates characters that are real and often troubled -- people with flaws and frailties as well as courage and kindness. Her fascination with the supernatural also shows itself in her fiction. She lives in the Kawarthas region of Ontario and enjoys travelling extensively.
